Deep disco edits from Glasgow's disco godfather, Al Kent! Few can even come close to the level of disco digging mastery that Mr. Kent has reached, and he proves it once again with three smokin' re-edits on Kalkuta Soul. Not even going to try and pinpoint the originals for these ones, since all you really need to know is that the do what you want them to do on the dancefloor - and that's get people moving and grooving and feeling good! Check the 45 RPM A-side "Love and Care" that keeps 'em dancing on a cloud with Philly style instrumentation and soulful flute work, while "Colder Than Cold" is a stomping rhodes laced groove with a seriously mean bassline to boot. Finally "Gee Wiz" closes things out with soul to spare. Not to be missed for the disco freaks!
