Dark Jovian is Tobin's first release since 2011's ISAM and is the result of years of sonic experimentation. Dark Jovian finds Tobin indulging in spacious cinematic electronica inspired by the Jovian system, space exploration films, and classic soundtrack composers like John Williams, Gerry Goldsmith or Gyorgy Ligeti. The 5 celestial tracks are paired with remixes from Lee Gamble, Logos and Eprom, and are packaged as 2 white vinyl 12"s with etched markings in a white, branded, rubber wheel, all and presented in a clear Perspex box designed by Alexander Brown.
