Andres: Praises / New For U (Live) Vinyl 12"
At long last, the infamous LIVE version of Dez Andrés' eternal 2012 house classic "New For U" (maybe the only real classic of the modern era) on wax. This loose arrangement of the 2012 rollerskating cut features a who's-who of Detroit music personnel including Amp Fiddler, Shigeto, Ian Finkelstein and others. But of course that's only the B side: A side cut "Praises" is equally life-affirming with a soulful organ loop and soulful vocalist oozing the Detroit deep house gospel vibes. Sounds like it could have been cut from the same date, we're not sure. As with any Andrés or anything released by Moodymann's Magogani Music, these probably won't last long.
