Bob Marley & The Wailers: The Best Of The Upsetter Singles 1970-1972 (Lee Perry) 7x7" Boxset
Bob Marley's short span (1970-72) of recording with Lee Perry is undoubtedly his finest work and a magical moment in music history. These sessions have been bastardized with poorly executed cd comps and poor quality vinyl pressings (thus, the straight forward "Best Of The Upsetter Years" CD goes for a lot money, go figure). First we were blessed with the 180g Lilith pressing, now we get the official 7" boxset with even more tracks, some dub versions, original label artwork, a bonus 45 adaptor, and booklet! Geek out and DJ an Upsetter 45 special. Highly recommended.
