Breakbot's debut for Ed Banger.Ā Upon it's original release in 2010, Breakbot was theĀ solo aliasĀ of Thibaut Berland doning the funky retro discoĀ boogie thing. Eventually Breakbot would become a duo with vocalist and frequent collaboratorĀ Irfane, who is featured here on their first single "Baby I'm Yours." The two are a match made in disco heaven - with Breakbot laying down the sweet melodiesĀ and Irfane lacing it up with feel-good falsetto vocals. Undeniable grooves right here. This 12" comes with a couple top gradeĀ remixes via Siriusmo and La Funk Mob, plus the understated vocoder jam "Make You Mine." Recommended.
