Dan Shake : 3AM Jazz Club / Thinkin Vinyl 12"
Deep house heaters from Moodymann's Mahogani imprint! Not too much is out there about this Dan Shake fellow, but he's definitely got the chops. His debut release seems to be pretty divisive right about now. Both "3AM Jazz Club" and "Thinkin" are uptempo deep house tracks that follow the Moodymann mold relatively closely. Depending on who you ask this is either a good thing or a bad thing. Whatever the case I'm sure if you dropped this in the middle of your set whoever was dancing wouldn't really care. However, someone would be guaranteed to come up and ask you what Moodymann record it was. Bottom line, if you like Detroit styled deep house you're gonna dig this. Recommended.
