Debut album from Discovery on XL. Released in 2009, LP found Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij teaming up with Ra Ra Riot's Wesley Miles for a journey into realms of infectious electro pop. With both members having past experience in successful bands, it comes to no surprise that the two vocalist/producers come up with genuinely catchy tunes for the entirety of the album. Check the electrified, vocoder laced cover of Jackson 5's "I Want You Back," or the re-imagined version of the dancehall classic "Slang Tang" for a taste of what they're working with here.
