Sex Tags UFO returns with another banging collabo from DJ Fett Burger. The Sex Tags Mania sub-label he runs has been solely releasing the Norwegian producer's collaborations since 2012. Hot on the heels of "Seriously Goodbye," his brooding cosmic pop team-up with Helsinki's Stiletti-Ana, comes this two pack of heaters. This time around Fett Burger taps Klasse Recordings boss Luca Lozano and the pairing could not be better. The two producers take a trip back through the underground to the retro rave world of the early 90s. Breakbeats abound on "Totally Tangerine," the sure shot of the two tracks. A punchy bass line provides the groove while classic house synths complete the retro vibe. The B side takes a different route with "Electric Blue" sounding like an updated take on the music coming out of labels like Essex's D-Zone back in the day. Both cuts stand up to the recent output from the rest of the Sex Tags crew. Gritty dance floor material with a slight nod to the past. Recommended.
