In his much too short time on this planet, Rashad Harden (bka DJ Rashad) pushed the sound of Chicago Juke and Footwork to the next level - and dance floors across the globe will never be the same. We On 1 was released just days ofter his untimely passing, and is a crucial document of the legacy he left behind. The title track features Rashad on vocals over an intense, trunk-rattling riddim that seems it can cave under its own heaviness at any moment. This kind of heavy tension is Rashad's signature and the pressure continues on "Come On Girl" with long-time collaborator DJ Spinn, and "Do It Again" with Spinn and DJ Manny.
