The two day set, recorded live at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on August 23 and 24, 1968, gets luxuriously spread across 4 LP's and housed in a deluxe book-like case with informative, detailed liner notes. Originally released in 1992 on CD (25 years after its recording), this set was mixed down from the original multi-track reels for optimum sound quality.
