Fifth studio album from Australia's Hermitude. Dark Night Sweet Light scales back the anarchic genre flipping of 2012's HyperParadise, while embracing a more large scale festival sound. It's not quite EDM, as the duo incorporates elements of hip hop and house throughout the album. There's plenty of energy, but Hermitude do not shy away from subtlety either. It might be a poppier effort than previous albums, but Dark Night Sweet Light presents a more restrained and mature side of the group. Includes the songs: "Hijink," "Through The Roof," "Hazy Love," and "Shift." Fourteen tracks in all. Released by Elefant Traks on orange and translucent double vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a download code.
