Pure edit heat from the freshly minted Rocksteady Disco imprint. For their debut release, the Detroit-based label taps local legend Lafleur for three tasteful dancefloor-ready edits. The selection kicks off with the conscious disco funk groove of "Peace," a deep burner (check that bass slap) with a message, while "Consume" switches gears into jazzy territory with an unexpected, but totally awesome edit of Tom Waits. The 12" is rounded out with the peak time disco secret weapon "Love," a killer edit of Jo Bisso's "Love Somebody." Limited hand-stamped 12"s, only 500 made so be quick!
