Most of the production was handled by No I.D., and Young Sinatra's fellow "RattPack" member 6ix also helped oversee the project. Simply put, the Maryland-bred MC can rap. His less-than-perfect upbringing (he's famously mentioned that he's capable of cooking crack) is a fertile ground for him to draw material from, and he speaks the language that cuts through and reaches his mighty healthy fanbase in a very real way: "Maybe if I go platinum they'll remember me then / But, I'm not defined by the sales of my first week / Cause in my mind the only way I fail; if my verse weak." The beats lean toward the soulful, and they always leave plenty of room for rapid-fire bars, This album is also an early proof of Logic's ability to bring together the older, classic years of hip-hop with with the younger stylistic turn the genre's taken as of late.
