Hawaiian Soul reissue. Mike Lundy's The Rhythm Of Life album is a holy grail for soul diggers. Thanks to the blog turned label, Aloha Got Soul, we are treated to two cuts taken from the album, which is also being reissued (hell yes!), on a limited edition 45. The A side is the title cut set at a mid tempo that reminds me of a middle ground between The Blackbyrds and Steely Dan, definitely the dance floor cut of the two. Flip it over and we get a sweet soul tune for the late night lovers set. Hand stamped sleeve with accompanying photo print from a studio session.
