Dynamic live set recorded at San Francisco's Filmore in 2006. On the heels of their critically acclaimed fourth album Louisville's My Morning Jacket dropped this live recording. It would go on to become one of the quintessential releases from the prolific psychedelic alt rock band. Okonokos delivers a raw and inspired set, showing that the band can bring it just as well live as they do in the recording studio. The fun begins from the start with "Wordless Chorus," one of their tried and true openers. There are expansive renditions of "One Big Holiday" and "It Beats 4 U," and a moody extended outro to "Off The Record." The standout of the set may be "O Is the One That Is Real" which is more aggressive than ever. Twenty four tracks in all. Released by ATO Records on a quadruple vinyl pressing housed in a box with a digital download.
