NOFX: White Trash Two Heebs And A Bean (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP
NOFX always seem to have their tongue firmly planted in cheek. Just checkout "Please Play This Song On The Radio" and you'll see what I'm saying. Fat Mike spells it out for all the radio disc jocks and they even go the extra mile on the chorus. Just watch out for that last verse! White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean, the bands fourth sutdio album, is notable for a few firsts. It's the first album to feature El Hefe on guitar after Steve Kidwiller left the band in 1991, and it's their first album to not be produced by Epitaph bossman and Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. It's always kind of interesting to see what Epitaph had Fat Mike write about his band's records for their site. Here's what he put down for this one: Back to Westbeach with Donnel Cameron. I don't remember that much about this album. Erik had just quit heroin and he was still sick. Two days after we finished, Erik checked himself into a rehab and stayed there for two months. That was 7 years ago and he has been totally sober ever since. Cool. He won't even eat chicken if it has wine sauce on it. He made it clear that NOFX was more important to him than drugs. Anyway, I don't remember how long this album took, but I do remember it took me a fuck of a long time to sing. Standard. Limited edition purple vinyl pressing (just note that the purple is pretty dark and may or may not have some marbling).
