For his 3rd full-length under the Porches moniker, Aaron Maine offers 14 tracks resulting from "his urgent desire to document immediate sensations." The lushness of 2016's Pool, or the indie rock flow of Slow Dance in the Cosmos is replaced with a more minimal, raw approach to writing music, and consequently, the synth-driven songs present "diaristic vignettes" full of honest emotions. Check out the catchy, melodic, & upbeat "Find Me," or "Country," a stripped down number detailing the "terrifying thrill of young love." "Goodbye" is another stand out, and it's full of the melancholic reflection that seems to be the running theme of the LP.
