After killing it with the best selling Fleetwood Mac/Talking Heads edits, Psychemagik step out with their own original productions on this 12" taken from their forthcoming full length. There's a lot of psych and magic to be had on "Valley Of Paradise," a beautiful balearic groover that whisks you away to another world with lush guitars and ethereal, harmonized vocals. Deep is an understatement for this one. "Star Lazer" ups the tempo and energy with funky guitars and synths and a spaced-out disco trip. Think the best elements of Gino Soccio, Moroder and Cerrone on the same track and that should be pretty close of what you get with "Star Lazer"! Recommended.
