Miami in the house! Mickey De Grand IV and his 10 piece live band return to PPU with two tracks of boogie fire. These dudes have seriously nailed the sound and they don't seem to be quitting anytime soon. I kinda feel bad for whoever "Charlene" is. I mean, to have inspired a cut this funky takes serious panache. From the falsetto vocals all the way down to the thick as f*ck bass line, she's causing some serious problems. Flip the record over for the slow burning "Midnight Special." This one's on some "Sexual Healing" visions with an added dose of Grover Washington all over your face. You can't step to this. Recommended.
