Fourth studio album from Syracuse, New York's Ra Ra Riot. Need Your Light sees Ra Ra Riot team up with former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij on production duties for the second time in a row. They continue with the synth pop of 2013's Beta Love, but pair it with the string sounds that were noticeably absent from that album. It sounds like the band has finally found themselves with this combination. Frontman Wesley Miles sounds more confident than ever, and the productions are anthemic without going over the top. Includes the songs: "Water," "Absolutely," and "Foreign Lovers." Ten tracks in all. Released by Barsuk Records on translucent teal vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a printed inner sleeve and download code.
