Michigan Avenue (some called it the Powerhouse, some called it the Music Box, others the "powerfailure). This is the last time I saw/heard him play liveā¦ I recorded some of his set on a mini-cassette recorderā¦ summer or autumn of '91)." Holmes extracts the ahemā¦ rare essence of Rare Essence (not the D.C. go-go band)'s "Disco Fever," and his righteous blade work focuses the classic track for the dancefloor.
