Swervedriver: Raise (Music On Vinyl 180g, Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

Debut studio album from UK shoegaze crew Swervedriver. Adam Franklin, Jimmy Hartridge, Adi Vines and Graham Bonnar came together in 1989 and quickly signed to shoegazer outpost Creation Records for their debut EP, Son Of Mustang Ford. They released two more EPs (Rave Down and Sandblasted) before assembling Raise, which consisted of the title tracks from the three EPs plus six new songs. Comparisons to My Bloody Valentine haunted the band around the release of Raise, but other than Franklin's singing style and their signing to Creation, there aren't any real similarities.
