Tame Impala was undoubtedly one the top acts of 2012. Like we like to do at the Lab, we revisit a single from their 2010 debut album Innerspeaker. "Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind?" has Beatles-esque quality about it even though it's wrapped in Erol Alkan's digital Daft Punkish sleeve. This particular 12" is the one you want of the several versions available because it features the b-side Pilooski remix of "Lucidity." Pilooski's looped up rock sensibilities are a perfect fit for Impala's hypnotics. Deadstock score, we won't be getting more of these when they run out. Recommended.
