Collaboration of the year! The Galleria is long time House maestro Morgan Geist of Metro Area / Storm Queen fame teaming up with relative newcomer and Lab favorite Jessy Lanza. Together they made an ep recalling the more innocent days of club going, a time when Chess King dressed you and your friends, a time when Z Cavaricci was about as exotic as you got. The duo pay tribute to Latin Rascals, Mic Mac Records, and the Funhouse with a wild pair of freestyle cuts that each get their own 'dub' treatment. While I've personally been waiting for the freestyle renaissance, we needed someone to relight the fire and The Galleria might be our saviors.
