The Rolling Stones: Some Girls (180g) Vinyl LP

Now on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl. Official reissue of The Rolling Stones' 1978 album on their own Rolling Stones Records imprint. At the time of release, the Stones' popularity was in decline, and disco ruled the airwaves. To turn things around, Jager & the gang integrated bits of disco into their repertoire, and it turned out to be some of their best received work since '72's Exile On Main St - even topping the Billboard charts and earning a Grammy nomination for Album of The Year.  The biggest hit on here is easily "Miss You" (the band's last US #1 single), with its infectious melody that still works wonders at bars and discotheques to this day. Also includes "Shattered," and the sleeper jam "Beast of Burden," one of the most beautiful Stones tracks ever written. Comes in pic sleeve (non die-cut) with printed insert.
