Turntables On The Hudson pays homage to its winter home, Cielo on Little West 12th Street NYC (also home to Francois K's Deep Space parties). Here is the second volume compiled by resident DJ Nickodemus with a killer selection of eclectic tracks that keep the Cielo crowd moving. A-side features the fat, dubby beats of Mr Scruff & Kirsty Almeida's "Pickled Spider," while Afrolicious takes it into the deep global funk of "Dub For Mali." Flip it over and get down to the massive uptempo afro funk of Meitz' "Zwakalani (SUMO Rebounce)" and the MDCL remix of Mariella's "Love Sick." Recommended.
