White Material: White Material EP
Brooklyn's in the house. The White Material crew has been quietly selling out 12"s for a minute now to those in the know, and we were lucky to come up on a handful of their latest release for the Lab. Only on their 4th release, the WM stuff (self proclaimed as "working man's techno") is quickly becoming the most hyped underground house and techno label outta NYC (especially with L.I.E.S. moving internationally and everything) with releases fetching ridiculous coin on the 'Cogs only weeks after initial release. The hype is well deserved however, as the crew consisting of DJ Richard, Galcher Lustwerk, and Young Male are pumping out some seriously proper dance grooves for the floor. Check the sound on "1 Does Not Kno," "Problems," "Lost In Thaw," and the bumpin' vocal cut "Put On." Limited edition and sold out everywhere else so be quick!
